From one hundred and One wise sayings
by Chief Josiah Nwaogwugwu

Most people have been thrown into jail or have been misunderstood because of careless statements interpreted as circumstantial evidence. A good person should know what he is actually saying, when and where he speaks. In African society there are peoples whose names are worth a million dollars to them and their families. They may be rich or poor, it does not matter. A man who says anything that enters his mouth, may be successful in politics or material wealth, but a failure in life. Serious people will not take his words as given.

WORDS LIKE FREEDOM
From: THE PANTHER and The LASH
by Langston Hughes
There are words like freedom
Sweet and wonderful to say
On my heartstrings freedom sings
All day everyday.
There are words like liberty
That almost make me cry.
If you had know what I know
You would know why.
